Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions? We’re Here to Help.
Healthcare can be overwhelming—we get it. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we hear from clients just like you. If you don’t see your question listed, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to chat and help you feel confident in your next steps.

No way! While Kegels can be one piece of pelvic floor therapy, they’re not the only piece—and they’re not always the right starting point. We assess your pelvic floor (with your comfort and consent), but we also look at your breathing, movement patterns, posture, and lifestyle to create a personalized, holistic plan beyond just Kegels.

When you arrive, you’re welcome to come right in and make yourself comfortable in our cozy waiting area. Since we’re a small, boutique-style practice within a private Pilates studio, we don’t always have a front desk staff present—but your therapist will be with you shortly and ready to give you her full attention.
Once your session begins, you’ll head into a private treatment room and spend dedicated, one-on-one time with your pelvic floor physical therapist. You’ll have the chance to share your story, symptoms, and goals without ever feeling rushed.
We’ll do a thorough, head-to-toe evaluation (pelvic floor included if you’re comfortable), provide hands-on treatment on day one, and leave you with a personalized Action Plan so you know exactly what to expect moving forward.
We know starting pelvic floor therapy can feel intimidating—but you’ll be heard, respected, and fully supported throughout your care.
-
No referral needed! Kentucky is a direct access state, which means you can start pelvic floor therapy with us without a referral. If we find something that needs a physician’s input, we’ll let you know, but you can book your first visit whenever you’re ready.
-
Absolutely. We’re moms too, and we know how hard it can be to find childcare. Babies are always welcome, or if it’s easier, we offer in-home sessions so you can get care without the stress of packing up.
-
You will always work 1:1 with a licensed pelvic floor physical therapist during your sessions—no aides or techs. We believe you deserve our full attention every visit.
-
We exclusively specialize in pelvic health, pregnancy, postpartum, and women’s wellness, but we treat the whole body—because your hips, back, and core all affect your pelvic floor. Our focus is helping you move confidently in every season of motherhood.
-
Never. Your story matters, and we believe you. We take the time to listen, understand your goals, and work together to help you feel your best.
